I wanted to take a moment to write down a dream I just had before I completely forget it. I think it's absolutely appropriate to what's going on around me and in my head. I just wish I understood its meaning. I'm not sure if I was working for, or was beginning to work for, a large retail store that sold just about anything. It had more of a Rite Aid feel to it than a Wal-Mart feel. There was some kind of secret that the store management kept under wraps, and all employees were expected to have this implant. The store itself had a full medical staff with facilities for putting these implants in. I think I'd already had mine done. The implant went into the stomach area, and there was something wrong with mie. For some reason, the implant was affecting my health in a negative way. I didn't want to see the doctors because I suspected that something shady was happening. I also hate doctors. On the other hand, I knew that my health was in danger, so I didn't know what to do. I was beginning to panic before my impending doctor's apointment in the secret lab in the retail store where I worked. The boss tried to convince me to go and have my implant fixed and encouraged me to stay at the store. She said how much she needed my talents at the store, then pulled out a magazine with an article about me. She said she'd found me as an employee through this and other articles which covered what I'd done in the blindness field. Now that I think on it, I inwardly wondered if the magazine article wasn't a tabloid. The funny thing is that I don't remembber ever having the implant done in the first place. Anyway, as I began to panic, help came in the most unlikely place. Luke Skywalker and a medical droid came to visit the retailer. I told the medical droid my problem while not knowing that it was a medical droid. Luke tried to get me to come out of the store with him, but I wasn't sure I could. He even offered, (I think) to distract the store's medical team with his prosthetic. He could pretend that something was wrong with it so I could slip out with the medical droid. I must have eventually trusted the medical droid and Luke himself because, eventually, we left the store. The boss noticed our leaving, and that's when she tried to encourage me to stay with the magazine article. When she said that she needed my blindness expertise, I just lost it. I said somethig like "You don't give a damn about my expertise! You just want someone to be a part of this shady operation! And you know what? I am more that just a thing with blindness expertise! I am a human being, and I'm tired of being here, and I want this damn implant out of my body!" Perhaps that's what allowed me to leave with Skywalker and the medical droid. Before we left, the boss tried to tell me that her medical team was the only team who could remove my implant. The medical droid, in confidence, told me that it was versed in medicine and could remove the implant with very minor surgery that would not even require much on my part. I admit that I was surprised that Luke was the hero and not anakin. But then again, the real hero was probably the medical droid because that's who I felt most confident in. The last thing I remember was driving to wherever Luke and his droid were spending time. Knowing that I hate doctors, the medical droid created a very safe environment. I'm not sure what happened after that. That's a weird dream with some substance. I'll have to think about that one. In other news, finals are coming, the holidays on around the bend, and I've caught a cold. Little wonder, really with everyone hacking up lungs everywhere at school and on the buses. As for me, I think I'll get some remedies including Super Food juice for its vitamins, and hard A to put in tea. Well, I could write more, but not now. I'd rather return to my book and get some sleep. I just wanted to write that dream down before I totally forgot it.
